About Mr. Hospedales

On February 3, 2021, the Ministry of Finance bade farewell to Jerry Hospedales after almost 22 years of service. He formerly held the position of Senior Project Manager, Special Projects and Technical Advisor in the Strategic Management and Execution Office.

Mr. Hospedales has been instrumental in the role of economic policy making for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. He has served the Government for almost 62 years from 1958-2021-2 at the Office of the Colonial Secretary in pre-independence: 6 as a teacher at the Holy Cross College Arima, some of which time he spent at the University of the West Indies, 31 at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, 4 of which were spent in the establishment of the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation and 4 representing GORTT at the International Monetary Fund and almost 22 at the Ministry of Finance.
